Creation

On 5 November 2018, to harmonize with 5 November 2013, the day the Mars mission was propelled, Mission Mangal was declared. Head photography for the film started later in mid-November. Toward the beginning of February, Pannu completed her calendar of shooting. Shakthi at first had Mohanlal and Sridevi at the top of the priority list for the jobs played by Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. He referenced the story thought to Kumar when he was headed to the arrangements of film Kesari.
